Beautifully remastered and lovingly re-crafted. Check out 'The Book of Secret Songs', which was written following the death of my Father and explores many of the issues of loss and grief that haunt us all. Opening track 'Walk in My Shoes' acknowledges that we all travel the same path and everything that entails. The wonderful 'November Song' is set from the first lines, "the distance between us is open so I'm closing the door on my soul" and is both melodic and melancholy in it's delivery. But be assured the album has it's lighter moments with tracks like 'She's Always Broken' and 'UR the Sunshine & the Rain' adding radio friendly vibes alongside the jazzy swing elements of 'Beautiful World'. Perhaps my favourite song from the album is 'Spiritual Love', which has a beautifully uplifting chorus. I hope you find time to check out the album and grab yourself a copy of the CD. Love Rojor x
